Southern sunshine in Southland on Wednesday. Driving through dense morning fog these sunflowers jumped out at me. I didn't think the fog would lift but it did a couple of hours later ... here's the result, a fine view from the property I was visiting at Otama. Photos taken by Nigel; Growplan (2020)
Travelling a back road today between the Otuparaoa and Blue Mountains I came across a moa. Normally flighty and hard to capture, this one was wired and I was able to get her photo before she thundered off toward the Umbrella Mountains.
