I’m a Landscape Architect based in Dunedin, New Zealand, mainly focused on rural landscape design and working throughout Otago and Southland (further afield by arrangement). I want to help farmers achieve a balance between running their farms at a profit while also achieving good environmental outcomes. I also get involved with other rural design including lifestyle blocks, vineyards, tourism accommodation and community projects such as activity parks, public reserves and camping grounds. From time to time I participate in other projects such as large-scale subdivisions and industrial site planning and design.
Starting this week I’ll be blogging about the things I’m interested in, usually related to my work as a Landscape Architect but not restricted to that. This may include plants, gardens and landscapes; and topics such as sustainability, climate change, stormwater systems, riparian planting, weed management and more.
Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting! I hope that you’ll “follow” and as I publish posts that you will find the content informative and thought-provoking.
